Roundtable | Russia’s War in Ukraine – Global Perceptions

This roundtable brought together leading scholars and policy experts to examine how Russia’s war in Ukraine is perceived across different global regions, with a particular focus on Asia. The discussion explored how the EU’s role, interests, and core values are understood internationally, and what lessons and policy recommendations emerge for the EU in an evolving geopolitical landscape.

The session was held as part of the EU-VALUES Network International Conference, hosted by BINUS University, and featured contributions from experts based in Europe and Asia. The roundtable was moderated by Adam Holesch, Senior Research Fellow at the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).
